Flirtation and promiscuity among female teenagers cause deaths when the pregnant young girls want to abort the unwanted pregnancies. It could be or without parents' knowledge or consent. If the parents are the educated ones, they may seek for an expert advice from a medical doctor concerning it. In that case, the doctor may likely suggest that the young pregnant girl undergoes D & C. This process of foetal termination is very painful but safer than the other methods of abortions. If the parents of the pregnant teenager are illiterates or not socially enlightened, or even poor, they will most probably resort to traditional abortion methods which involve the drinking of herbal mixtures to terminate the pregnancy. This quack method of abortion is comparatively cheaper to pay but very dangerous because it is characteristially associated with high death and barrenness risks. Why? It is clearly because 40% of the result of this approach to abortion is straight death! The other 30% of its result is unarguably barrenmess. The remaining 30% is successful and safe. Can you see why it is very dangerous to engage in premarital sexual affairs as teenagers? I personally know at least ten (10) girls who died when they were doing abortions. I also know some teenagers and young women who became barren because they defiantly rejected instructions and ended up trading with their bodies for the acquisition of filtby lucres. In Mathematics, one plus one is two. It cannot fail or change to be so. In Physics, the law that action and reaction are equal and opposite is also constant. It cannot fail to be so! Teenage pregnancy should be guarded against at all cost. If not, parents stand the high chances of losing their daughters to death or barrenness. Pregnancy of teenagers are more dangerous and life-threatening when parents and guardians or caregivers do not know about it. In such situations, the pregnant young girl helplessly ends up relying on the poor experience of peers at school for advices. Hence, they end up giving wrong advice on the issue because they are inexperienced. Now that the teenager's parents did not see anything good in teaching her sex education at home,her peers at school will use her for test-runnimg and experimentations! The parents of the pregnant girl are somewhere engaged in one business or the other while their daughter's life is hanging in the balance somewhere. At this point, anything can happen. It is 50% life-50% death! So, you can see the inherent dangers of raising teenagers without adequate sex education and proper parenting at homes. To be continued...
