Parents Negligence To Proper Parenting Brings Regret In Future

If a new born baby is denied care, feeding, clothing, shelter and motherly love, the child cannot survive. When crops are planted in the farms without watering and weeding, the germinatoon processes, development and growth will helplessly be retarded. If the crop should sprout at all in defiance of odds against it, it will result to stunted growth and scanty yield due to lack of nutrients and nourishments in the soil. In the same vein, when children are raised without proper parental care and development, they will be morally dead. Morally-deficient children engage in fornication, abortions, hooliganism, truancy, impersonation, forgery, fraud, terrorism, juvenile delinquency, excessive expenditures, drug trafficking, smoking and drinking addictions, homosexuality, bestiality, incestuos relationship, child soldiering, transgendering etc. Parents should not born children whom they are not ready or able to nurture and train properly. Children from bad parents have done so much atrocities in the world. The aircraft hijackers, bandits and hard-liner religious fundamentalists are all products of poor parenting and broken homes. Children without quality parental training are most times vulnerable to deliquency. Parents who spend less time with their children certainly create polar chasms between them and their children. Thomas Mann said,"Opinions cannot survive if one has no time to fight for them." Parents should not expect their children to be upright, intelligent, and successful in life endeavours if they do not have time to teach them how to attain to greatness. A child should be taught discipline, ideals, values, morals and good conducts. He should as well be well-educated on his responsibilities to his country. So many people in the world do not know their civic responsibilities to their countries. For example, I read where Mike Tyson was lamenting that he has wasted his wealth buying houses, cars, and gave over $30, 000 per night to his girlfriends, and forgot to pay his tax. By the time he came to his senses, he was broke. Both himself and the litany of women whom he made rich were broke together. By that time that he realized his mistakes, a lot of unpaid taxes were hanging on his neck. If someone had taught him that tax payments are inescapable, he would have paid it. Children are not born with innate wisdom and good behaviours. Expecting them to exhibit sterling qualities which had not been inculcated into them through early good parenting is an illusion! They cannot know what they are not taught. For example, when my daughter was learning how to walk, she used to walk with her front and back without turning. She thought that one walks with both front and back sides. Upon discovering this, I used my hand to turn her so that she can walk with her face or front side only. And, she learnt it. Children who do not have enough time with their parents usually end up seeking for antisocial groups and peers to associate with. These peers and antisocial groups are mostly products of broken homes too. They are clearly destitute of morals, ideals, values, and good mannerisms. They corrupt your children the more if they have access to them. Poor parenting can drastically affect a child's emotional and psychological fitness. Neglected and abused children are susceptible to grappling with problems of eroded self-confidence , fear, anxiety, and lack of trust. They believe that other people are not reliable or trustworthy like their parents. Broken homes in particular expose the children to crimes, drugs, smoking and alcoholic drinking addictions. Good parenting enables children to improve academically, have self-confidence and ability to objectively look at issues from the right perspectives. They can distinguish between intuitive and inductive reasonings. They are not easily misled at all. They ask intelligible questions. It is generally believed that proper parenting increases a child's cognitive ability, especially during the teenage period. Parents' failure to instill ideals, morals, values, etiquettes and good mannerisms into the children and support their education will, no doubt, scuttle their chances of success in life. If children are taught good conducts and values theoritically by their parents and they end up practically seeing fighting parents, corrupt parents, and thieves who live large on stolen money, armed robbers and ritualists, they will quickly and easily imbibe the evil conducts they practically saw at the defiance of those things that they were taught. The Scripture tells us in Proverbs 21:.16, thus,"The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the death." Anybody who does not have understanding of what God wants him/ her to do in this present world will be disappointed at the end of this life's journey. He will find himself in the congregation of the dead! He won't see light. God did not create man to do things his own way and cast Him at his back. God created man for a purpose. Many parents do not tell their children anything about God, the eternal One! God expects all parents to talk to their children about Him. Teach your children to fear Him and to abstain from all appearances of evil. Why? It is because all sinners will be cast into Hell fire forever (Revelation 20: 10, 15, 14: 10-11; Matthew: 25: 41, 8: 29; Luke 16: 19-31; Mark 9: 43). Jesus Christ is the ONLY Saviour and the way to Heaven! Once a man dies, the judgment of God follows him immediately (Heb. 9: 27). Kindly share with your friends and loved ones. Thamk you!
