Poor Parenting Causes Hard Drug Trafficking and Addiction
One young boy from my village did not
follow the pious footsteps of his parents. His parents were very committed and consecrated Christians who preached the gospel consistently for several years. Against the expectation of his parents, he became wayward and joined himself with bad friends. In his dire quest for material aggrandizement, he indulged into hard drug trafficking. He lied to his wife that he was traveling to one part of Nigeria for business while in actual fact he traveled to Brazil. One hard drug baron in Nigeria sent him to Brazil with cocaine loaded inside his stomach. Unfortunately for him, the cocaine had to burst inside his stomach before the right timing to defecate it in the hotel. It happened a bit earlier than the timing. So, he died.
His colleagues who travelled together with him ripped open his stomach in search of the forbidden substance. They got it; and abandoned his remains in the hotel room, and sneaked out of the hotel to anotber one. The Brazilian police was alerted by the hotel management of the death of the unknown traveler. The Brazilian police informed the Nigerian Embassy of the
development. From there, his wife in Lagos received a phone call that her husband had died in a Brazilian hotel because cocaine bursted in his stomach. His wife who never knew in the least that her husband had just been recruited into that business swore that it was not her own husband who traveled to Brazil with cocaine. After all explanations, she was convinced that what they told her was true. Finally, the remains of the young was buried in Brazil.
That was how a boy who was born and raised by pious parents died untimely in search of wealth and fame. He forgot the Scripture which said that godliness with contentment is great gain, for we came with nothing into the world, and it is certain that we shall carry nothing out.
