Supporting Trump's Decision To Fight Against Terrorism In Nigeria
The proposal by the US President, Donald Trump, to mitigate terrorism in Nigeria, as US fought against Al-Qaeda terrorist network, has generated a heated debate across the cultures of the world. While some individuals welcome the offer, others condemned it in strong terms, citing concerns about encroachment on Nigeria's sovereignty and ulterior motives. However, if we can only sincerely consider the magnitude of insecurity in Nigeria, and the resultant indescribable loss of human lives, it is imperative to acknowledge the importance of Trump's military intervention against Islamic fundamentalism in Nigeria. Past and present Nigerian governments have been grappling with the spate of terrorism for about 20 years. Extremist groups like Boko Haram and other faceless bandits are wreaking unspeakable havoc in our communities, displacing millions of vulnerable local dwellers and claiming several thousands of lives in its wake, especially Christians. Not less than 7,000 Christians have been killed in Sokoto city and its suburbs in Sokoto State, this year alone. Of a truth, very little number of Muslims have been killed too. Such contrastive killings can take place between different Islamic groups such as Sunny Muslims versus Shitte, and others. Presently, there is a community in Kaduna State, where two Islamic sects are fighting for the control of that place. We acknowledge the truth that Muslims are also killed and displaced by terrorists like Christians. But, the clear difference is that the Christians are the target and endangered species in Nigeria. When religious extremists kill Christians, they cut off their heads for display in their streets as proof of their superiority and dominance over the powerless Christians. All over the North, the Christians, Igbo people specifically, have been killed in the most gruesome manners right from the 1970s till today by the fundamentalists. This is not an accusatory statement, metaphor, or hyperbole; but the obvious truth.
I want to give some recent examples of the killings of Christians by the jihadists.
1. One young woman in her early 30s was killed in Abuja as she was preaching the gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. She did not make any derogatory comment against Mohammed or Islam, according to eye witnesses. Government did not do anything about it till today.
2. There is a picture in this post. Who is this young girl in the picture? It is the picture of Miss Deborah Yakubu. She was a 19-year-old student murdered by her fellow students of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, Sokoto State, Nigeria. Her killers were both students and religious jihadists. They allegedly accused her of blasphemy against Mohammed their Prophet who taught them to kill human beings for Allah for a reward in their own heaven. They defend a man who taught them to engage in battles blindly against innocent mankind, promising them eternal life and 72 virgins, if they die in action. They defend a man who taught them to marry many wives but did not give them recipes on how to get incomes for the sustenance of large families. Is the human brain not supposed to reason objectively before believing a doctrine or tenet? The fundamentalist jihadist students accused and stoned an innocent girl to death! They are still living till today, probably looking for other Christians to kill after being promoted in the first one.
3. Most Nigerians are aware of the regular fierce conflicts between Christians and Muslims in Jos, Plateau State. These conflicts, which have lasted for over 20 years, has led to the mortality of over 380, 000 persons: men, women, and children. Out of this figure, over 85% of them are innocent Christians. This figure is not a portrayal of weakness on the side of the Christians as some may think, but because the Christian faith frowns at arbitrary killings. Muslims traditionally killed thousands of Christians in Jos to the point that they (Christians) went all out to prepare to protect themselves since there is no existing presence of government in place to protect them. In fact, in almost all cases, the government supports the Muslims either directly or indirectly, even when it is obvious that the Muslims are at fault. In 2010, a group of Fulani jihadists attacked villagers in western Plateau State, killing, maiming, and displacing them. As we speak, there are several thousands of Christians in Plateau State today without homes due to fundamentalists' invasions on their communities. I personally know these areas that were attacked and raised down to dust by Muslims. I also know some people who died during the attacks. One of them was an Air Force officer friend (a Muslim); whilst the others were Christians. In one of those invasions, over 6, 000 Christians were killed in one night. They were attacked during nightfall. Muslim families in that neighborhood were secretly pre-informed of the impending invasion. They quietly evacuated the community before the murderers attacked the unsuspecting Christians. None of them informed the Christians that they were only one inch away from death. At least, 6,000 Christians died in that attack. Some survivors ran away from the scene naked. I mean they escaped naked to nature. Many survivors had knife cuts and gun shot wounds here and there in their bodies. It was gathered that some seriously injured Christians still died at the hospitals. The daring Islamic extremists burnt heaps of corpses with petrol. Their charred bodies were seen everywhere in the vicinity. Now, in the morning, when Christians from nearby villages and police came to the scene, they discovered to their utmost chagrin that they were burnt. Upon bringing together the corpses that were not burnt, they counted them. They were 501 murdered people: men, women, and children. Infact, pregnant women and babies in their wombs were not saved. It was such a horrible sight that Latin Language will describe as, "Hori willet wizzle." The 501 corpses were buried in a mass grave of 50 x 40 feet space, and about 12 feet depth. If you go to Jos and ask for it, they will show you.
4. The massacre of Christians has spilled like milk from Jos, Plateau State, to Benue State, Nigeria. There have been several attacks against many communities of Benue State, leading to displacements of vulnerable villagers to differents parts of Benue State, or even beyond. According to infallible records, not less than 100, 000 people: men, women, and children have been killed by Islamic fundamentalists. The attacks on Benue State by Fulani jihadists were so rampant and ferocious that the governors were forced to supply arms and ammunition to the rural dwellers to defend themselves after weeping publicly for help without any help in sight
5. In the South East, the nomadic Fulani jihadists have killed people though not as much as the far North and Central North respectively. Their invasion and land annexation agenda met with very stiff resistance in the South East. The Fulani herdsmen usually cause fights by bringing their cattle to farmers' farms instead of taking them to the grazing fields. Who will plant crops and fold hands watching cattle feeding on them? If the farners tell the herdsmen to take the cattle out of their farms, the Fulani herdsmen begin to fight against them. The Fulanis are among the last tribes to settle in Nigeria. They migrated from Senegal-Gambia area in West Africa and came Nigeria around the 13th and 15th century, and lived with the Hausas. After a short time, the Fulanis had protracted wars with the Hausas. At the battle of Akalawa which was their first battle against Hausas, they were roundly defeated by the Hausas. Unfortunately, in subsequent battles, the Fulanis defeated the Hausas. Their leader, Othman dan Fodio, was a prominent man and propagator of Islam to the core. He vowed to spread Islam from the Sahel Sahara to the Atlantic coastlines in Rivers State of Nigeria. He used sword to impose the acceptance of his religion on people in Nigeria. It was through the same sword that Islamic religion penetrated into North Africa because the whole North African countries were initially Catholics, except Egypt. For example, St. Cyprain was from Carthage (present-day Tunisia). Othman dan Fodio stopped his Islamic expansion campaign in Ilorin, Kwara State. He also established the Sokoto Caliphate which later became a thorn in the flesh of Nigeria till today.
6. The Fulanis, under the pretext of cattle rearing, has also invaded Edo State in the South South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. They claim that Nigeria is their own land. What an arrant nonsense! They have illegally occupied many States in Northern Nigeria. Presently, some Islamic sects are fighting against themselves for the possession or control of in-ground mineral concessions in the North. In Kaduna State, for example, Sunny muslims are fighting against Shittes. In other places, the Ahmadiya sect fight against Tijani sect. It can also be the Ansarudeen versus Nurudeen sects. Their blood is hot. Their lives are valueless! They are always looking for human beings to kill to please their Allah.
President Trump's offer for assistance, which includes military action and technological support, can significantly bolster Nigeria's fight against terrorism. The use of advanced technology, such as drones and surveillance systems, can help the nation to better track and neutralize terrorist groups. One of the primary concerns raised by critics is that Trump's offer is an affront to Nigeria's sovereignty. But, my question is, which sovereignty are these educated fools talking about? A sovereign State has its responsibilities. If not, it is not one. Apart from the Sultan of Sokoto, whom America is frowning at, and is demanding for explanations from him before it is too late, there are other innumerable Islamic vampires speaking against Trump's intending military actions against terrorism in Nigeria. They opined that Trump has no right to carry out any military operations against terrorism in Nigeria without taking permission from Tinubu and his goons. The arbitrary killings of innocent Nigerians, especially Christians, for over 20 years, means nothing to the Sultan of Sokoto and his blind followers. Can you imagine that? We know African countries that have sovereign status. Nigeria is not among them. Nigeria lost her sovereignty status in middle 70's. Somebody like Bulama Bukarti, the highly learned smelling idiot, said that, " Christian genocide is false and simplistic, and Trump's military involvement can further polarize Nigeria." And so what? If Nigeria is polarized further to the moon or to hell fire, and so fucking what? The Sultan of Sokoto, Bulama Bukarti, and all Islamic fundamentalists cannot stop Trump's military involvement in stamping out terrorism in Nigeria. Bulama Bukarti said that Islamic fundamentalists should continue to kill Christians and rape them. Your time is up. God is going to use Trump to deal with all of you.
The Sultan of Sokoto is a criminal to say that there is no Christian genocide. He is a cannibal to say that it is a sin against Allah to fight terrorism in Nigeria.Which Allah? Where and when did Allah talk to him? It is now clear to all and sundry that he sponsors Boko Haram, bandits, and kidnappers. He feeds from ramson paid by kidnapped victims. Bulama Bukarti is funding Boko Haram too. Both of them are partners in genocide business. Bukarti is feeding from terrorism. The Deputy Senate President is a funder of Boko Haram too because of the comment he made against Trump recently. He gets princely shares from ransom paid by kidnapped victims. Influential Northerners and elites have something to gain from terrorism. That is why they are kicking against Trump's intending military actions against terrorism. We know that North wants to islamize Nigeria at all cost. You have shot yourselves in the legs. Othman dan Fidio's grand agenta to make Nigeria an Islamic State is futile. It is a tale told by an idiot, according to William Shakespeare. It cannot work! Armed robbers like Asari Dokubo and Reno Omokri (products of adultery and Federal Government appointment seekers) will soon plunge into death for speaking against Trump. So, Trump cannot seek for permission from Nigerian Government before mitigating terrorism in Nigeria. In the first place, who is Nigeria in the comity of nations? Corrupt country. Champion in election rigging. Murderers. Evil people. Where is the crude oil money that Nigeria has sold daily for six decades? What did Buhari and Tinubu do with the huge loans borrowed from China? Did they not share it amongst themselves and built petroleum refineries abroad? When an American citizen was kidnapped by terrorists a couple of years ago, did US ask for Nigeria's permission or technical aid before rescuing him? US knows all terrorists in Nigeria. She knows their hideouts. She knows their first, second, and third names. So, whether the fundamentalists like it or not, Trump will surely come and stop the killing of Christians in Nigeria. You cannot stop him!
