For example, if a woman had her previous child through Caesarean Section (surgery), she will obviously entertain fear upon getting pregnant again and remembering the harrowing experiences she went through during that pregnancy. If a woman had postpartum haemorrhage (excessive bleeding after child birth), would she not be exceedingly afraid of her next pregnancy? Of course, she will!

2. Pre-existing medical conditions:

Women with pre-existing medical conditions may experience increased stress, fear, and unspeakable anxiety during pregnancy.

3. Trauma and abuse:

Women who have experienced trauma or abuse may experience increased stress and anxiety during pregnancy.

4. Family dynamics:

If an expectant mother is married to a toxic and implacable husband, that insecurity and cruelty of her husband can create enough stress for her during her pregnancy.
